Xanax + Weed

Addiction and coma and other BS caused by withdrawal are the main health risks. One should treat xanax like percocet or vicodin.

If you took one pill and felt nothing you probably had .5mg pills, the bars are 2mg and unless ur massive WILL DEFINITELY fuck you up.

 

2mg doesn't fuck you up. 4mg is a better dosage but still didn't fuck me up and i only weigh 150...

 

That's quite possibly the most ignorant statement I've read since I read the description of the movie "Angels In The Endzone". Each drug has it's own effects and xanax is NOTHING like vics or percs. Hydrocodone and oxycodone don't have LETHAL withdrawal symptoms. Hydrocodone and oxycodone don't turn you into a "drunken" idiot or put you in a state of mind to purposely shatter your knuckle by punching a wall. If you wanna be truly fukt out of your mind....eat 10-15mg of xanax. If you want to be slightly relaxed with a decent buzz....eat some vics or percs. No pills compare to xanax, not even other benzos.

 

Yeah 4mg is the perfect dose. Not really fukt up, but nowhere near sober.

 

Topnotch I know you know much more than me regarding xanax so I won't argue, but I will say that for me 2mg + a little weed is far more devastating than percocet or vicoden, but 2mg alone with no other shit added is basically the same as a dose of pain killer. Also, maybe you can drive on pain killers just fine ( I can at decent doses as well), but some people (my father, and a neighbor) can't do shit and fall asleep on a medical dose, not even a recreational one.


So again I agree with you, but there are exceptions and I think sometimes you forget that you're basically the juggernaut of xanax. Most people take no where near 10-15mg in a shot, more like 2-6mg. As far as shattering your knuckles personally I can barely walk on a decent dose of xanax and weed forget punch hard enough to do any significant damage. Again, I've never done blackout doses, my highest dose ever was 4mg + .5g weed and I didn't have the mental capacity or strength to sit erect, I was slumped.

thats probably because you only took one. I used to pop 3-4 at a time. Lmao once 8 but never 8 again, I dont remember anything from that day but apparently a lot of people remember me from that day hahah

 

I took a .5 xanny and smoked three (1) gram blunts with my three friends. So three 1 gram blunts on 4 dudes that all took some kind of pill as well lol. Needless to say I could barely speak, I don't remember much, but I was in upstate new york with some friends out in the woods, and I'm told I laid on the ground staring at the stars all night and came up with some sort of theory about how the wind is a living thing. But Im not sure if any of that is actually true because all my friends were destroyed too.

The morning was fun too, a little burned out because we were all coming off the different drugs we were on (vicodin, xannies, oxycontin etc.) and then we went to Woodstock NY from Round Top NY, browsed the head shops and walked around.

We also learned there's a Reggae festival Sat Sept 8th up in Woodstock (reggaewoodstock.com) Are any of you HipForumers gonna be there? Or Near there? I'd love to meet up and have a sesh!

PS Thanks for all the advice about the xannie, from what I can remember it was a hell of a time but it's definitely gonna be only a once in a while thing for me. I can't do that every day lol

Ativan (lorazepam) and Kolonopin (clonazepam) are stronger than xanax. Take 15 mg of ativan and you might die

I've never taken ativan, but klonopins are shitty as fuck; The only time I ate them, I ate 8mg and didn't notice any effects, so I never fucked with them again.

All benzos have the same effect. The dosages are just different, some are used as anti-convulsants more, and some are used for the anxiolytic effects. 0.5 of one kind is not the same as 0.5 of another. For example, the same effects you may get from 3mg of xanax as 14mg of clonazepam. Just an example, I don't know the exact dosages, but they all come from the same class of drugs.

 

Just because they come from the same class of drugs doesn't mean they all have the same effects... All Besnzos do not have the same effect, and I know from personal experience, but some are VERY close to the same effects, just minor differences.

If they all had the same effect, why not just have ONE benzo drug?

 

Benzos are a bitch. I love them but get irritated as shit if I do them more than two days in a row, and once you take a few you can't stop your self form taking any more until you run out haha.

 

Yes I have been taking benzos for years. The only reason there are more is the molecules, or how the chemical is structured is slightly different. Some do show different highs and lows though, like diazepam is a preferred drug for seizures, yet ativan is preferred for an anxiolytic, where it doesn't respond to seizures as well. The 'high' associated with benzos comes from a big increase of the brain chemical GABA, so if you take whatever dose of whatever drug you'll reach the same effect, although the pill dosages may be different.
