Hey HHB, are you into Alex Jones by chance? I'm an avid coast to coast am listener, and that show's been trumpeting what you're saying for a couple of years now...it's just that people didn't want to listen, now they're beginning to panic. As predicted. Good luck in your preps...I'd like to add that, this applies especially to you Rainbow brothers & sisters, we need to be as prepared mentally and spiritually as physically for what's coming. Heed the signs. ...Remember, feet on the ground, head in the sky...ears to the earth, eyes to the heavens...

well although i respect alex jones, and outlets like coast to coast AM for getting the truth out or trying to,to the masses,,they have had 0 bearing on my knowlege of,nor are they the ones i learned of the truth from. in fact,i think that ultimately they kinda are a detriment to the cause.
i think the truth is easier accepted by the masses when delivered through word of mouth.

i dunno, ive gleaned what little knowledge i have on the truth of the power structure of this world through years and years of researching and educating myself to the validity of of the so called "conspiracy theories"..
the current situation, one only needs to read beyond the mainstream media to see the truth of whats comin..

thats what boggles my mind,is to see some family refusing to admit this is coming to fruition..

i was turned on to the truth of the "Illuminati"/"elite"/New World Order by the family back about 1980. that is what started my quest for truth..therefore it just boggles my mind that some dont want to acknowledge what is happening.
i dunno,i always thought this was one of the core beliefs of the family.. the whole "Babylon" thing.

now, as the prophecy's are coming true,it just seems like some dont want to confront and prepare for what is coming..

i just dont want to see anymore suffering than there has to be. i know we cant all survive,i know that some of the most prepared wont and some of the least prepared will. i just feel as its our duty as "warriors of the rainbow" to step up,prepare and lead by example in these troubled times we are facing..

yes love will help us carry this burden we will soon be carrying, but it wont put a roof over our heads or food in our bellies..

I hear you loud & clear brother...it was my own exposure in the early '90's via some old friends who were Family that led to the veil being lifted for me too...Zeus & Scooter anyone? I've lost touch over the years, last I knew Scooter was in Missoula MT. I was a hotshot college dweeb with a book-smart knowledge of world politics and such. They said to each other one night during a discussion, about me, "he just doesn't get it"...but they wouldn't tell me what I didn't "get". They said I'd learn on my own. So I started a lifelong study of "alternative" subject matter, psychology, sociology, religion/spirituality, history, politics, etc. Here I am all these years later and coast to coast and other such outlets are parroting all that I've been reading now for years. I still keep up with "mainstream" news and academia too, it pays to always know both sides of an issue and come to your own conclusions.

I agree that Family has gotten away from what it was when I was first exposed..the younger kids seem to be more displaced Phisheads than folks who really want to LEARN and grow. I'm not trying to sound judgemental, I'm open to anyone who's eager to expand their minds. But alas, this is NOT about fashion, or who's more "hippie" than who, or kind buds, et.al. We are in the midst of Babylonian meltdown and if we don't, all of us, revert fully back to the original Rainbow vision, Babylon's spillover will overtake us and blot us out. You're right, Love is the answer, and we reap what we sow, which is where I believe Soaring Eagle is coming from. But I, like you, will also not stand by and be a martyr. I can't spread love or ideals from six feet under, dig? There's a HUGE difference between being optimistic and hopeful versus being totally quixotic.

    Cheers, lovin' y'all.

Again folks, ears to the ground, eyes to the heavens.

...then again, playing devil's advocate to my own post, look at all the influence Christ, Gandhi, and many other martyrs continued to have after their having been taken from us...hmmm. Still, I'm not gonna go without a noble effort, but I'm not gonna turn my back on my ideals either. Yin AND Yang brothers and sisters!!!

I agree with you 100%. I doubt that all of the kichens that were in Arkansas will be in Wyoming this year. I doubt that it will be a big turn out. Phamily just can't afford to travel. I know I can't afford $4.00+ gas. As for rationing, it is a reality. I think that it will start this summer. If people can't predict this happening, then they have been living under a rock.

I was enlightend that i had the dates wrong. Whoops, i always get dates wrong. I have since then edited my original post to the correct dates, June 14th to July 17th (i think). Sorry, thanks.

You have the right gathering. If you missed the nightly servings of organic salad, then i feel for you. But it only reinforces the point i was trying to make, that it takes a lot of food to feed main circle.

If you would like to research the event feel free to do so. If you go to google groups and find alt.gathering.rainbow you can type in 'acres of kindness' to the search box and you will get the whole story, complete with post from others than myself who saw it happen. Try butterfly bill and karin zirk as 'author' of the post.

I will gladly share what i learned if you have more interest.

Hey if someone could collect all those hemp seeds that often get tossed to the Mother they could be sprouted & fed to Family....course hemp seeds have so many food uses; ground up & made into hemp burgers, tossed into baked good of all kinds for extra protein, texture & flavor.... Sprout Gregg did a regular sprout kitchen in AZ; it would be way cool if someone focalized a hemp kitchen with sprouts & more!

Funny thing is Hemp really is the answer to a whole host of problems. Instead of wasting our corn for ethanol why not use Hemp? It would save a lot of small farms from turning into subdivisions....

Remember, the big bulk food chains like Sam's Club, don't make money off sales. They make their money off memberships. And American rice farmers still grow about twice as much rice as Americans eat.

I so agree with them hemp, it can feed us, warm us, fuel our vehicles, clothe us, heal us...

people are hurting in this country right now. people are deciding between groceries and gas to get to work, some people have no work. i love the idea of national gathering being a celebration of the harvest too. we are in this time of change, but it's a healthy reality check, a wake up call, the alarm has been ringing for years, but people have been hitting the snooze button. rainbow family are resilient, we are doers, thinkers, we ACT, and are very much accustom to making do. maybe all this will bring us closer as beings? who knows, it's certainly an interesting time. stocking up? no not me, if things get so bad i can't eat, i surely am not making mortgage payments either, things get horrible, i can't put half a years stock of food in a backpack. things will be ok. maybe not the ok that allows people to guzzle gas in their suv's and throw away food and be such a disposable society, but that stuff isn't ok no matter what the circumstances is it?! maybe this is all going to get people back to what is real, back to more of a beginning than the end. who knows?

The biggest problem I see with moving the gathering to the late summer is fire season that is always a big concern for the gatherings.

Montana? Jojos and chicken breasts!!!?? The only state that actually has editable stuff in convince stores.

All this imported stuff is going to cost more soon all you vegetarians are going to have to start eating local, Beef, Chicken, Eggs, Wheat bread.

yes, you are right on the increase in fire danger.

i'm vegan and i will not compromise my beliefs because of availability of food. never have, never will. You can can, freeze and preserve things, so there is always something local to eat.

    yesterday

rice was back and at the old price

[double last year's price, but oh well]

    i did not buy any

i had already set myself to making bread with the flour on hand

i WILL NOT eat 'jojos and chicken breasts'

[whatever the fuck a 'jojo' is]

i don't think they have them in this part of the state anyways . . .
