Obama made the decision many times. Drone warfare advanced substantially during his administration. For some reason incendiary weapons were preferred, which can lead to substantial collateral injuries. But the hit record is impressive during that time.
Wow, and yes I remember Mickey Mantle, Frank Sinatra & Elvis. Solemani deserved to get whacked period.
Of course not, Obama didn't talk about it. He left it behind the scenes like one would expect from a president (except for all those times his administration "announced" defensive actions ahead of time). The international community knew what was happening because assholes all over the middle east were suddenly on fire. But they didn't raise a stink because he was killing some really bad actors, likely preventing all kinds of escalation. Trump still seems afraid to take real action and keep moving forward. This particular mission in Iraq was unusual and everyone was already looking for this guy, so the decision was probably easier. I'll still doubt Trump's legs on this until he starts attacking like Obama did. Almost daily.
I'm glad they did. It shows they are professionals and not liars at all. IN the means time, Trump has changed his story several times. He went from 1 embassy to 4 embassies. And is telling Iraq he will not leave, in violation of international law.
You're aware the other countries (where the targets were) or the international community could and would have brought it under our attention as well? So, this assasination action (as well as trying to render the nuclear agreement meaningless) brings serious concerns for further escalation. As i understand you're trying to equate this with Obama's drone attacks (which just to be clear im not defending in any way ), but doesn't this difference matter?
Many important people deserve to get whacked, doesn't mean this is the way to do it. There's an obvious reason this doesn't happen more regularly like this. Would you like it if several countries made it a more regular practice (to whack dangerous and/or dubious individuals in foreign regimes in similar ways)?
And weren't Obama's drone attacks limited to Al-Qaeda and ISIS figures and targets instead of officials of sovereign states ?
A lot of people dont actually know this but the Kunduz Bubba strain comes from this region in the world.. Kunduz hospital airstrike - Wikipedia
I was thinking the same. Literally makes any military threat from Iran, especially considering their UK diplomat had previously came out head strong like he ended up 100% clueless. Well, if the socialist/globalists have their way, then that oil doesn't belong to the Iranians and should be distributed among all countries fairly? "Fairly" such as cities like Dubai that will get naturally destroyed as soon as the oil or its demand runs out -an absolutely utterly pointless human resources in building a pointless city just for the sake's of a few Arab male privileges of a luxurious lifestyles - something you pretty much never see in western media. And yet the working classes (poorest) of western countries like those of UK and USA are promoted as the worst humanity has to offer, are classed as "racists" (or whatever PC terminology these days). Something you "educated" or privileged "white" folks need to recognise is, you're abandoning your own people to the wolves, for basically cheaper labour wages. And when that happens, civilisation falls - and when that happens - you're privileged luxury lifestyle loses value.
The difference being that Obama, and the people in his administration knew what they were doing. tRump doesn't even know if one or four embassies were going to be attacked(which is a totally bs story). Even republicans said that when they were briefed, an embassy bombing was not even mentioned. Face it man, this is just more of your boy's deflection.
