Phew, I made it to the end of this thread. Been a while since I’ve been on here. Unrelated to the main topic, am I the only one who actually enjoyed high school? Speaking of the “best years of your life” I think high school was pretty damn fun. But so was college. Don’t get me wrong, I’m ok with life now, but being an adult with responsibilities doesn’t really compare to being a care free kid getting into trouble

I really enjoyed high school, too. I would not describe it as the "best years of my life", but I had a good time.

 

I didnt enjoy high school per se, I didnt really get that involved in high school life and my closest friends went to other schools. But I really enjoyed being a teenager. I have a ton of great memories from that period of my life

 

high school was fun, just not the most fun.

 

There's more chance it was fun if genderwise and sexually you happen to fall in the mainstream. I also had this luxury.

 

I am the carefreeist I have ever been.

But I've chosen them.. I wouldn't choose a responsibility unless it had a payoff that improved life more than the responsibility took away.

High school was great. I messed around and didn't do my homework. Now I wash dishes.

 

I bet at no time in high school did they teach a class on how to wash dishes though

 

They did not. Home economics was the closest thing.
