    According to this study, 7 is a most popular number, and it says that you can test this by asking people to write down any number they want between 1 and 10, some 80% will choose 7...

    It's a psychological thing. If I were to tell you to draw a rectangle, you would most likely draw one with sides measuring 1 by 1.61800 something. It's the number engraved into the world.
