The opera Wozzeck is truley stunning. The music by Alban Berg is so Psychedelic. Hearing it while stoned or on acid would be no dought something special. Us hippies need to give opera a chance and this opera by Berg is a great start. It is great to hear it in English but the original German is as a-okay. Some of the scenes such as when Marie admires the drum major, when Marie has sex with the drum major and when Wozzeck kills Marie are some electrifing moments in this opera which is 80 years old this year but based on a play which was based on a true story. Give it a try!
