I never truly realized how much traffic Random thoughts generates by itself. On the front page, compare the number of posts in this forum to all the others. It's pretty amazing! But then again, this IS the place where almost anything goes, so you have to expect that eh? Even though RT can grate on ones nerves at times, it's a pretty decent place, with great folks. I rarely ever have a day when I don't find a post that makes me laugh or smile.
Whenever I talk to new folks, I tell them that if they want to get their feet wet gradually, go almost anywhere in the forums, but if they want to jump right in with both feet and get used to the place quickly, they should head over to RT. The Kitchen Table may be, as I have been told, the heart of the forums, but Random Thoughts is it's face, whether it's smiling, angry, crying, or just chilling...and it's usually doing all those things at once. It's chaotic and it can be frustrating, but it is really the place to be to really get to know the people here.

Totally agreed!! Cannot say anymore as both of you have said it all!! Angel, do you know when the kitchen table will be back? I really miss it!
Thank you, Stella! I'm going to go fix it now. Amanda, it will be soon, I hope. Skip told me he would do the Kitchen Table first when he does the personal forums. He knows I am kind of lost without it and a lot of folks miss it.
Why I come in here, and have it as my homepage - I can talk about anything. I just don't mean because of sex or swear but I can ask a question about thumb tacks or nuclear fission. There's always someone in here who'll have something to say.
