it was actually only $22 and yes it was cheap shit beer (coors light). but i had to pay my packie run some moneys for gas and shit cuz noone wanted to help a sister out.
first, how did everyone know it was crappy beer? my guess is that good beer doesn't come in 30-packs. second question: is 30-rack an actual term? i thought it was a typo until it was repeated... finally, i know she already explained the pricing, but i still thought i'd point out that if she bought the beer after the legal cutoff time, she could still buy it at a bar for a dollar a beer, hence a $30 30-pack
yea, good beer doesn't come in 30 racks...the term 30 rack is more of slang term...its not used everywhere. mainly in the northeast part of the US, IME... she can't legally buy beer, being that she is 18
you get them for around $18? cheapest bud lite, coors, etc would be $20 ice house and the like might be cheaper
of course not, but she could still send a 21-year-old to a bar to buy it... and i'm pretty sure i used to buy 30-packs of coors for $16 within the last couple years
ever had gennesse?? holy fuck thats some cheap ass beer! worse than keystone mark my words. costs bout the same though.
Genesee is made here in Rochester. It's nothing I drink, but it's better than Bud for sure. Also, the brewery has branched out and now brews craft beers as well.
