wow people can say ANYTHING on radio

Who knows for sure what he meant when he said those things or how he feels about such subjects, but it sure as hell sounded like it was a little on the racist side to me. But he has the right to say it, and we have the right to disagree with him. I don't respect HIM, but I respect his right to voice his opinion. I certainly hate the fact that people like this have been selected for government positions.

 

well, the beauty of free speech is that you can out the idiots. it's better to know what's REALLY on someone's mind than to guess at it.

 

some times i wonder what kinda radio programs people listen to- just because i never hear stuff like that.

then again, i guess id have to listen to the radio for that to happen......

 

I was surprised that anyone was surprised that Bill Bennett would say something like that.

Hes a tasteless douchebag, and saying something for shock value should be beyond public discourse.

In douchebags defense, he wasn't saying we should, he was making an analogy.

A stupid analogy. He should be able to say whatever he wants, I think not listening to people like this is in all our best intrests.
