Okay, Ill give it a try. I just found these, courtesy of Reddit.
How many Trump supporters does it take to change a lightbulb? : Jokes
What is the best Donald Trump joke you've heard? : Jokes

I can't wait to try them out on my MAGA friends.

"How many Trump supporters does it take to change a lightbulb? None. You make the Mexicans do it. " [IMG]

Trump is visiting a class in an elementary school where they are talking about words and meanings. The teacher asks Trump if he would like to lead the class in a discussion of the word “tragedy”. (No, not the punch line yet)

So he asks the class for an example of a tragedy. One little boy stands up and offers, “if my best friend who lives on a farm is playing in a field and a runaway tractor comes along and knocks him dead, that’d be a tragedy.”

“Not quite”, says Mr. Trump, “that would be an accident.”

A little girl raises her hand: “if a school bus carrying 50 children drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a tragedy.”

“I’m afraid not,” explained the president. “That’s what we would call a great loss.”

The room goes silent. Trump searches the room. “Isn’t there someone here who can give me an example of a tragedy? “

Finally at the back of the room, little Johnny raises his hand. In a quiet voice he says, “If Air Force One, carrying you was struck by a missile and blown to smithereens; that would be a tragedy.”

“Fantastic!” exclaimed Mr. Trump. “That’s right. And can you tell me why that would be a tragedy?”

“Well’, said little Johnny, “because it sure as hell wouldn’t be a great loss and probably wouldn’t be an accident either.”[IMG]

Those are real knee slappers! I'm sure they'll get a rise out of my Trump-lovin' buddies. If you don't hear from me again, you'll know why.

I would like an addendum to this

"You make the Mexicans do it then tell them to get the hell out of your country"

And make Mexico pay for the lightbulb.

Or at least, promise that to the uneducated...

Not really, it's just that conservatives are statistically more attractive than liberals. And Dahl's quote from "the Twits" sort of explains why.

But that's the thing. Kids used to try and weaponize blonde jokes at me to try and emasculate me with the nature of such jokes, by using me as the main character of the joke. I never let it bother me, because I'd share my blonde jokes right back at them. Sometimes they'd ask why I'm telling blonde jokes. I never let it offend me, because you never give a bully the reaction they want out of you.

If you believe that, you're farther gone than I thought.

Ah, I see now. The bullied has become the bully--picking on fat women, Muslims, immigrants But it won't help.

I agree with him. I learned in school with bullies is if you go along with the joke like it doesn't bother you, they get bored and move along.

I did point out in an earlier post that it wasn’t that simplistic so I didn’t in that post repeat that I was talking in gross generalisations, sorry about that anyway if you look at the reports of the Pew Research Centre study cited in the PO

    Political Polarization and Media Habits

    Political Polarization & Media Habits

Overall, the study finds that consistent conservatives:

    • Are tightly clustered around a single news source, far more than any other group in the survey, with 47% citing Fox News as their main source for news about government and politics.
    • Express greater distrust than trust of 24 of the 36 news sources measured in the survey. At the same time, fully 88% of consistent conservatives trust Fox News.
    • Are, when on Facebook, more likely than those in other ideological groups to hear political opinions that are in line with their own views.
    • Are more likely to have friends who share their own political views. Two-thirds (66%) say most of their close friends share their views on government and politics.
By contrast, those with consistently liberal views:

    • Are less unified in their media loyalty; they rely on a greater range of news outlets, including some – like NPR and the New York Times– that others use far less.
    • Express more trust than distrust of 28 of the 36 news outlets in the survey. NPR, PBS and the BBC are the most trusted news sources for consistent liberals.
    • Are more likely than those in other ideological groups to block or “defriend” someone on a social network – as well as to end a personal friendship – because of politics.
    • Are more likely to follow issue-based groups, rather than political parties or candidates, in their Facebook feeds.
    *

Basically it seems to be that people on the right are more likely to just make friends with people of similar political views and hang out in places that just have people of similar views in them and so are less likely to ‘unfriend’.

While on the other hand those on the left are more enquiring and so are more likely to come into contact with people of opposing views which if they strongly disagree with are more likely to ‘unfriend’.

Neither situation is great but I can understand the second viewpoint more than the first which seems rather stagnant and yes conservative.

I’ve never felt the need right wing ideology being a big enough joke on its own.

    *

But to repeat I don’t think this is a joke - ‘I'd never fuck a feminist. Bestiality is illegal where I'm from’

It is just mean and nasty - it only works with those that are also mean and nasty and who share the same hatreds just as does - ‘I'd never fuck a black woman. Bestiality is illegal where I'm from’

I mean besides you who else thinks either of these ‘jokes’ is funny?

To repeat (again) something I’ve said many times about you –

I’m not sure if you are a racist but I am sure you are a bigot.

And to repeat (AGAIN) the equivalence is in the attitudes and mentality

‘I'd never fuck a feminist. Bestiality is illegal where I'm from’

    and

‘I'd never fuck a black woman. Bestiality is illegal where I'm from’

Both display the same type on mentality the same level of hate toward their ‘enemy’.

To repeat (YET AGAIN) all I’ve pointed out is that when pulled up about your seeming Islamophobia you suddenly said you had Muslim friends, then when some people implied you were racist you loudly proclaimed you liked ‘brown Mexican’ girls and had slept with a black woman.

LOL you really are a sucker for all things Alt-righty I mean for someone that claims they are not part of the Alt-right you do seem to follow them around like a love sick puppy.

Again I have to laugh I mean come on man this is too easy

6 for someone that has been constantly pulled up on not seeming to have much experience or knowledge of the real world it is difficult not to laugh when you bring up arguments based in fantasy worlds.

Sorry I need a minute to stop sniggering.

    Have you no self-awareness?

Who is it here that constantly runs away when people begin to raise criticisms of their views, well sorry mate but it is you.

Who here is constantly pumping out alt-right insults when asked to explain their ideas again you (soy boy, cuck, snowflake, Social Justice Warrior, etc etc etc).

Who constantly fails to address the criticism of their ideas and ignores most of the things said to him well you again.

Sorry mate but it’s you that consistently comes across as shallow, superficial, ill-informed and lacking in rational thought.

I mean come on man haven’t you noticed you repeat a whole load of stuff you pick up on alt-right and alt-lite sites but you never seem able to discuss them in any depth.

Thing is I might not be you friend but I really would like to discuss your political ideas in depth but you keep trying to block that by pumping out all this far right alt-rightist bull shit.

It can be a valid argument. It depends on the details of why and how. A crude holocaust joke to a person who lost their family in WW2 concentration camps is an obvious example. Being offended by a character like Apu on tv not. Well, they can be validly offended. That's not the issue. But there should be zero consequences. It is not a problem whatsoever to feel offended by a character like Apu. Or by a dumb blonde joke. On the other hand: if people constantly make dumb blonde jokes at one specific persons expense it is very good and valid to stop that shit. It's often not done solely in good fun when it gets dragged out. The motivation to make them are not to be funny or the person making them finds it so funny. Pitiful butthurt often plays a subconscious role then. Kinda like with you and your feminist 'joke' ;) (or your focus on immigrants, or socialism)

In keeping with the established practice of letting others do our talking for us, I give you these. Sorry, mostly no vid. I don't necessarily agree with all, but food for thought.
Political correctness: how the right invented a phantom enemy | Moira Weigel
How ‘Political Correctness’ Went From Punch Line to Panic
    In Defense of Political Correctness
Political Correctness Is An Absolute Must
    The Personality of Political Correctness
The last article goes against the grain of the first four, by suggesting that some political correctness may refllect "pathological altruism", involving "difficulty passing judgment of right vs. wrong, and forgiving all transgression and failures of those in the in-group while acting highly protective and aggressive toward those in the out-group, even sometimes in the absence of actual provocation and injustice."
These issues may deserve a separate thread.

I'd post that in the Apu is racist thread as well. Might fit better and get a good response (maybe even from me :p) sooner in there! But i would appreciate a summary added to that bundle of links, like if you agree share why/how :)

The thing is that we all know that many right wingers here and elsewhere are more interested in repeating slogan or grievous politics than in any in-depth discussions of the issues and policies.

I mean there are right wingers here who don’t even seem capable of writing a sentence let alone anything of substance sometime not even capable of that preferring to post videos and memes.

Other write proclamations of what they see as obvious facts and seem surprised and perturbed then they are criticised and such people often become huffy and belligerent when they find they have no rational reply to the many criticisms of their ideas because they have seemingly never given then much thought accepting them without question.

The thing that gets me is that when confronted by the fact that they cannot defend their ideas they still don’t question them preferring to run away.

BUT I don’t know if it is projection, misdirection or a lack of self-awareness but as a group they keep going on about it been the lefties not themselves that are unable to defend their views.

So now we get this silly NPC meme being pumped out by the usual alt-righty suspects. The idea is that anyone that isn’t as right as them hasn’t got any independence of though and so cannot defend their ideas and can only repeat what they have been ‘programmed’ to say.

It is interesting that it is 6 that brought this to my attention, interesting and you might say ironic.

I mean 6 is well known here as someone that makes statements he has picked up from others only to regurgitate them here only to find it difficult if not impossible to defend them. He has been one of those that has consistently run away from debates when his ideas are questioned and often claimed people are ‘cucks’ ‘social justice warriors’ or ‘soy boys’ if they disagree with his views.

    *

So the thing is if right wingers become insulting like this so quickly once their ideas are criticised is it any wonder they get ‘unfriended’?

Oh yes, I'm a bigot only because you say so  c'mon man you're still beating a dead horse.
You can assume that all you want, but you'd be wrong.

    It's still a false equivalence.

I mean you can take any blonde joke, and substitute "blonde" for any race and turn it into a racial joke. But even then, your argument is still a false equivalence.

But keep going. I'm getting a kick outta watching you desperately grasping for straws :D

How is saying I like Brown Mexican girls a racist statement? Like a schizophrenic, you're finding racism where it doesn't exist. Seek a psychiatrist.

You're triggered by the gray man I see :D

Just because it's a meme projected at leftists, doesn't mean it's alt-righty LOL.

Ironically, Richard Spencer's alt-right, like socialism, is a collectivist ideology that judges people by their group, race, and ethnicity. Me, I'm an individualist who hates collectivism. Socialists(collectivists) like Spencer don't see people as individuals, they see them as focus groups based on superficial characteristics like race, religion, ethnicity and more. I myself, prefer to judge people by the content of their character, rather than the color of their skin.

The beauty of the NPC meme, is that you cannot be offended by it unless it applies to you.

    Alt.jpg

Have you no self awareness? I mean, c'mon man, we discussed this same topic a few months ago, and you still have to derail every new thread to exhume a topic that has already been gone over?

What's laughable here, is your instance on repeating the same flawed and debunked arguments over and over again, expecting to get anywhere in a discussion.

If one arguement doesn't work, you try another one. You don't repeat the same shit again and again. It doesn't work that way. Your constant repeating of the same arguments over and over again, is why you talk EXACTLY like a video game NPC.
