but really. i'm just not a very politically correct person. i try to be, on occasion, for the benefit of some of my friends who are more sensitive about what words people use. but i call people retards (despite having a tremendous passion for working with the mentally retarded), homos, fagtastic, etc. etc. despite being gay. hell, i call MYSELF a homo, haha!

 

I'm the same, well I'm not a faggot , but whenever I'm around my "developmentally disabled" cousin, who is more or less like a sister, I always slip the retard word. When I say it around her, I always feel bad, but she never says anything.

I don't really use offensive language in an offensive manner.

 

It's kind of funny because I don't like to call people who really are mentally retarded that...It's become an insult of sorts, so I really feel better calling them mentally handicapped or disabled. I'm usually not a PC person, and I use the word retarded to describe a LOT of things and people, but I can't use it in it's actual literal sense. I don't know...I guess I'm retarded. Haha.
