Ive smoked with this one old hippie. Im not sure if hes homeless, but im pretty sure he is. He just wears the same clothes everyday, and carries around a backpack with all of his shit. he uses the espresso steamer at the place a work as a kitchen and makes egg and shit on it since he dosent have a stove or anything. But he smoked me out with probually the best i have ever smoken. Deffently worth it.
i hate passing a joint to anyone but my friends, because frankly i dont want to be touching someone i dont know lips through the roach esp the filthy bastards that lick it. but a homeless person... unless he was really interesting, i would smoke half the joint and giv half to him- no rounders ty
Well it wasn't weed, but one time I rolled up some cigarettes for these two homeless guys in Boston. I must say, they were interesting chaps, worth listening to I'd say. Before I left, they said 'don't ever become an alcoholic' and then they proceeded to show me their U.S Navy tattoos on their forearms, which was kind of depressing. You here all the time how the Vietnam Vets became so fucked up after the war, but you don't actually see it very often. Also, they were basically covered in dried blood; on their hands, fists, around the mouth, etc. so I don't think I would have smoked them out if I had any bud, but I would consider it if the person wasn't caked in dried blood.
I like to smoke with the homeless by choice. I have met a few of these people, and they are truely wonderful. The wanderers, the backpackers, the intelligent vagrants. That where I belong...
it depends on the person.. if he was like the homeless people i've seen in my town, then probably not
Was chilling in a park with a bunch of mates and a homeless guy came up and started telling us stories. He was drunk or on something and I sparked a jay asking if he wanted in. He was missing a middle finger so he told us about it and we blazed. It was cool.
Smoked with homeless people loads of times, even given 'em buds in the past. And if someone asks for a puff on your spliff then it's a bit pathetic if you can't even spare them that because you're scared you'll catch germs. Can't you see through the exterior? They're not monsters. And the people talking about squatting earlier in the thread don't have a clue. I've lived in amazing, beautiful plush squats and I've lived in crap, rundown apartments I've paid for. It's all relative. Squatters are often politically motivated and if you can get away with living somewhere nice for a while, rent free and with legal protection (squatting is legal in the UK, as it's a civil matter and not a criminal one the police are actually on the side of the occupiers and not the owners so if you've changed the locks and the owners breaks in while you're inside he'll be arrested, not you) then why not? Especially if you have anarchistic tendancies. One squat I lived in was open as a social centre and art gallery as well as a space for gigs, raves and parties. Beautiful old building 10 metres from the beach and the landlord had given permission to stay until he did something with it. Was occupied for 7 years until eviction last year. It's even listed in the 'Notable Squats' section of Wiki's article on squatting (in the UK section, Medina House) though it wasn't as notable as some of the London ones which aren't on there hehe... That was great, people from every corner of the planet, lots of musos and arty types -about 20 people living there when I was there 2/3 years back....
Werd. Where's all this homeless hate coming from? I'm down. It's case by case you know. Not every homeless person is someone I'd want to blaze with, not every "regular" person is someone I'd want to blaze with either. We're just people. Shit.
Hell yea, I've been friends with a few and always talk to them in the big city's I visit. My uncle before he died as poor as he was would collect all of the family's bottles and give them to his hobo friends in the D. I'd smoke up a homeless guy any day, they have plenty of interesting things to say, and can always make you laugh.
Yup & yup.Fuck a buncha germs. There's gonna be a hell of a lot more homeless people soon and in the coming years. Are you sure you're safe? Can you imagine being homeless and having people look at you like you're scum?
There's this old guys who just lives in a tent near our park in town. He smokes me up sometimes and vice versa. He's pretty cool and has some interesting opinions on pretty much everything. He just doesn't have a "house". Is that so bad?
I always smoke with homeless people.... some times the best friends I've had were vagrants. Every chance I get I'll smoke out a bum.... it's totally my passtime. And around here there aren't that many bums over the age of thirty... most of them are young kids.
