Would you quit smoking weed if your new bf/gf wanted you to?

no I would not quit, I don't need some guy telling me what to do.

Mine hates me smoking, but that isnt stopping me. She can deal with it or not, im not gonna stop doing something I like.

no lol. if they can't deal with it then they don't like me for who i am. at the most i'd pretend that i quit and then just not smoke around them..

 

i would change. i've quit for myself so i'd quite for my boyfriend (if i had one).

i think it's not about changing yourself. just prooving you can manage without anything if you have him/her around.

 

mabe the fact that they dont want their new bf going to jail if they get busted?

 

i would have to thnk about it, i mean i don't smoke that often, so if my bf wanted me to quit, i think it wouldn't be too hard and i would do it for him.

 

be a leader not a follower. if smokin is your thang keep at it. i think independent chicks are a lot more sexy than a girl who just does what ever you say to keep you happy

It depends on how serious the relationship is. Now, I usually wouldnt *be* in a relationship with someone who wants me to quit smoking, but if it's something i'm serious about pursuing then i'm not going to let weed stop me.

Personally, I wouldn't stop all together but I would not do it around them if they were bothered by it, because it's just rude. But I would be honest and not lie about it. Take it or leave it, ya know? It should be a personal decision.
I don't smoke around my bf because he is in the Airforce and can't. He used to smoke until he got in...he gets out a year from next month, so we will toke it together then

 

I would never date someone who didn't smoke just out of perception. I want someone I can relate to. I'd never be caught dead with someone who was against it; close minded nasty things.

I have quit before for this reason, and even recently I did so again but I also was popping pills and a buddy of mine almost killed me when he was on. My body was telling me to stay away from pills anyways, but weed isn't really an issue of danger. But the first time I stopped I saw it as a positive experience because I had so much fun with her while sober.

I don't get people saying they are who they are, if you're in a relationship sometimes, no all the time change will occur, even if you keep smoking so how is that any different from not smoking because of a relationship? Maybe it isn't but I do agree a person wanting you to stop doing something you enjoy and they see as a 'problem' is fair warning that the relationship is not going to work.

 

The only way I would is if we had passionate sex every night. But knowing me I would be roasting anyway a day later.
