Would You Forgive your Friend...

I am not quite sure why someone would do that. Its totally wrong.

 

most of the times this would mean a set up... just because he is a brother from another mother doesnt mean he doesnt hang with the wrong side.

i see this shit all the time. people setting up their friends to die, it is fucked up!

what was your so-called friends explanation for this?

My daugthers friend got shot by gangbangers and was drawn out by a girl...oh ya, they use girls now to set up people to get killed.......really nice. shot an innocent 16 year old kid in the head as he he was trying to be nice to someone. makes a lotta fucking sense. grrr

if i hurt them back physically or mentally some how
then maybe i could forgive them...
cause locking the door like that is fucked up
the would deserve some kind of retribution

 

The last thing I would be thinking of doing during a drive by would be locking the door, a break and enter maybe but not when getting shot at from the street. What a useless and suspect thing to do.

that is true and hopefully that is what happened.

who knows how they would react in a situation like that. The whole drive by crap, shooting guns at people just makes me sick at times. Its just senseless.

 

That is something I considered but it is still a little strange, mostly because some poor cracka was outside at the time.

I read some discovery regarding a gang member case we had in our office. (when the DA has a gang case they have tons and tons of discovery trying to connect the person to a gang meaning everytime that person was around and his/her name is mentioned in a different case, they bring it forward to get the conviction for the gang enhancement)


anyways, it was about this 18 year old kid whose brother had hit some gang member with his car, purely accidental. So the 18 year old was out bowling with his friends at a local bowling alley. this kid was not gang related, was in his first year of college, was generally a good kid.

well the gang member who had gotten ran over, him and his crew were at the same bowling alley and were giving the 18 year old a really bad time, 18 year old leaves the building just to be confronted by more gang members..as he was driving away a bullet hit him in his head. A fatal shot. All because his brother had accidentally ran over a gang member.

it is very disgusting and disturbing, especially when my boss defends some of these fuckers.

and yup at the highschools here they cant wear baseball hats either along with the shoe laces. No logos, all kinds of crap they cant wear because of gangs.

at times i do have a huge problem with it. But like you said its my job... i always tease the DA that they need to come to the dark side .

Sometimes you have to put aside what the person has actually done and look at the person that is sitting in front of you.
we have a gang homicide right now. two defendant case, thank God its been determined that our guy was not the actual shooter. Not saying he isnt just as bad. just saying it makes it easier.
I am just waiting to hear one of these guys/girls say something about who shot my daughters friend. So his family, his friends and my daughter could have a little closure.

 

i imagine it's probably alot worse where you are, and so i'm not really capable of saying anything
i live in a suburb outside of toronto, it's dangerous but i'm almost certain that it's alot safer for me here than in a large american city
i really hope that you, your daughter and his family find the closure you need in that case

Your so-called "friend" is not a friend.
And even if you think he is, who the fuck needs a friend like that?

I damn sure don't.
And I don't believe you do either.

I would forgive him, because I am a compassionate and caring human being.
But I would then tell them, "We are no longer friends. Do not speak to me ever again."

Because if they did something like that once, they will always do it again. And apparently, they only care about their own safety and well-being. It doesn't seem to matter to them that you could have been shot and killed.... They were safe. That's all that matters....

That's why the door got locked behind them. So they could stay safe... no matter what happened to you.

That's my opinion and advice. take it or leave it.

Take care of yourself and for future referrence, chosse your "friends" wisely. All my friends would take a bullet for me, as I would do for them. That's what REAL friends would do.
