Pretty funny this kine vrs kind terminology. The word "kine" is from hawaiian slang made popular to us howlies by an early eighties surfware company called Da Kine At least that's where I first heard it. The term Kind Bud has been used since I was hanging out on the dead scene in the early 80's. So how is it wrong? Both words mean the same thing, just one is Hawaaian. Why did some youngsters decide that only noobs use the word Kind? Because some urban dictionary says so? I really don't think I'm a noob since I've been smoking longer than most of you've been alive.

 

The Kine/kind debate has been an ongoing one within many different marijuana circles. It won't be settled here that's for sure. I was raised it was Kine and had it confirmed by folks who've been around a hell of a lot longer than you or I have. Personally because of regional speech patterns, everyone can call it what they wish, and using a different term in no way makes anyone a noob...my point is that I had spelled what I was trying to say.

Apparently weed is very cheap here in Ottawa. I didnt personally buy it, I did smoke it but it was $45 for a quarter. It was really really good weed, but then again I barely smoke so I get high pretty easily.

 

Yeah prices are so good in Cali and in Canada, esp BC. A lot of people get ripped off in NYC, paying $20 or $25 per gram for dank or headies. It's not uncommon to see dank or headies going for $60-$80 for an eighth. But luckily my roommate grew for about five years and knows all kinds of people, so we usually get a personal ounce for a decent price.

 

What the fuck? 60 dollars? I couldn't survive wherever you live. Down here nobody really measures but I think I'm getting a little less than a quarter for maybe 30 dollars and its ONLY good buds.

Maybe there's just too many hippies here...
What I would do if I were you would be see if you can buy just a dime or so of it, smoke it, and if it seems worth it, go for it.

 

kine bud is a strain of weed that has become a colloquial term encompassing any sort of hydroponically grown weed. kind bud is what ign'ant foolz call it.... jk, but seriously, usually, if you call it kind, you get laughed at. and i guess we have established by now that 60 a quad is a steal, but here's my two cents....

hope its some good weed. In texas we pay for $40. zones. I paid $45. a zone other night and got some decent sticky stuff, with orange in it and some crystals.

Uhh, no one measures the weed they sell? I guarentee you people measure their weed where you live man. And $30 for a quarter of nugget? I guess I believe you, but to act like that is the norm is insane.

 

Nobody really uses scales I guess I should say. I've watched my guy just pull out a handfull and just hand it to me. And I know it's not the norm, but the question was would i buy a 1/4 for $60.
