Absolutely. Just as all laws are meant to do.

We should all discriminate and denigrate evil religious practices. Right?

Not at you, but I always laugh when Christians say that Jesus was the last sacrifice.
I tell them that they must be daff to think of god as saying, --- hey guys, lets end human sacrifice by having just one more big one for the gipper.

I just recently realized that Christians have the sacrifice of Jesus at the wrong Jewish holiday.

Yom Kipper is when the slaughter and sacrifice was given to god. Not Easter. Christians can't seem to get anything right.

Dr. Martin Luther the King , Jr - sacrificed ? Glorified . I do not like streets named after people . OMG Is there
a Pope's Place Blvd ? I hope you see to it my name is not even given to a stone .

One time a friend took a survey around town of college student's thoughts on my origin and history . The results were
shockingly diverse and hallucinogenic . But , oh , goes to show you what happens when jesus was the last sacrifice .
    Yes , there's a laughable wonder joke . Ho .

I'm not in the mood to slaughter your Gnostic logic . In this string , I note a gem of light discreetly within it .

    Thanks.

Gnostic logic can never be slaughtered as it is based on what can be known.
That is why I became a Gnostic Christian. I like to be right. Call it ego, but I just call it a near phobia against lying to anyone.

I agree all public displays such as icons, statues, etc. have no place in or on Untied States public property as we have a separation of state and religion.
But that won't stop religious violence.

I don't really know what France has done in relation to Islam.
I really don't care what any religion does as long as they don't force their beliefs on others and they obey the law.

The mainstream religions all preach homophobia, misogyny and inequality.

Do you see that as obeying the law or as preaching to break it?

Why do you feel so strongly.? Many people seek security in their chosen religions belief in an afterlife.
At some level, we all feel a need to belong. Is religion really that different to joining a club or supporting a football team.
If it is ruling their life, you have a valid point to make. but people have even killed each other for wearing the wrong colored scarf at a ball game.

    Exactly.

Now how many more would die if they sported, an even worse message like "Turn or burn" or "Jesus saves" or Jesus hates gays"?

Religious iconography is an insult to any that have been insulted by religions and religions discriminate against better than half the planet without a just cause and are justly hated by many.

The irony of any religious group getting into conflict with another, is that they all fundamentally believe that their is only one god.
Therefore, it stands to reason that we simply have different earthly methods of worshiping him (or her).
I once asked a devout Muslim friend if he believed that while he was kneeling on his prayer mat, Allah and the Christian god were somewhere up in the heavens hurling custard pies at each other.
Far from being offended, he told me that he had never laughed so much in years.

  15. They're all vying for the soul of humanity is the problem. If it weren't violence against each other and secular society took away all of their symbols, they'd just attack secularism even more than they already do. I'm actually surprised there haven't been more attacks on atheists.

It's the Catholic priesthood that cusses the Gnostics so bitterly . Gnostics defy that doctrinal (immoral) authority vigilantly and will
    seek allies .

Enduring through the centuries , they have established a public tradition of victimhood , annoyance , complaining , and presenting
morality riddles . They do have an interesting collection of writings though . In one story a completely obstinate young woman of
incessant inane ranting cannot in the end defy the natural and sensible authority of Mother . I met the girl , a queen of the world ,
madly psychic ... and she loaned me her Gnostic Bible . When I came to her story , I couldn't help it , and I scribbled words and
symbols in the margins of the story's final page . And then returned the Book . She would not complain of this . She would be healed .

Like all ideologies, we seek to grow to increase security. That is normal.

Not riddles. Just the facts and right position as we see it.

We do not see ourselves as victim and do not have the tradition you speak of.
Do I write like a victim to you?

We do recognize that our forefathers were thanks to the many inquisitions sent against us and the Jewish thinking that we think is superior to what Christianity turned the Jewish religion into when they usurped their god.

We are definitely annoying to idol worshipers who say they respect Jesus while idol worshiping and not seeking god as Jesus taught. We just hold them to their beliefs and they do not like being shown their hypocrisy.

We do complain about Christians not walking their talk for sure. We complain for all those Christianity discriminates against without a just cause like women and gays. We see it as our duty to defend the persecuted.

There is no riddle in our morality. It is straight up and honest and superior to what Christianity has.

    Regards
    DL
