rjhangover. It seems you were correct and I stand corrected. I don't know if I would go so far as to calling him a bigot,but what I read certainly surprised me. But don't think I am defending republicans. They are and have been the scourge of this country. They seem to have plenty of voters convinced(time after time) that they will help the middle class,even tho their actions continually prove otherwise.

 

No worries scratch, not that the confederates were right either. Like Lincoln, they believe(still today) that blacks are not equal to whites. And now the confederates are the republicans. 80% of republicans are from confederate states. And there is still a lot of Ku Klux Klan in the governments of those states. No wonder they hate Obama.
Half of my family came over on the Mayflower, the other half met them here. I'm part Cherokee and Part Blackfoot, so I have a lot of animosity for what the government has done to the "real" Americans. Natives have been considered less than human also. What the U.S. government did to Native Americans is no less than what the nazis did to the Jews.

 

Agreed. My family has deep roots here too. I believe one side of my family is distant kin to Lincoln--maybe that's why I got so het up!! The native americans (many) are now in the position of taking mucho bucks from suckers in their casinos. Good to see. The Tachis where I grew up used to drive cars on the rims,they were so poor. Now each member of each family gets something like 4 grand a month. They say the best revenge is living well.

It's call an obstructionist congress run by the teabaggers that have torpedoed all of Obama's efforts to bring this country out of the great recession that Shrub left us with. It's a real stupid strategy, but they figure that stopping an economic recovery will make Obama look bad. The GOP is such scum, they have been doing everything they can to stall the recovery, just so they can blame Obama. And it's the American people that suffer, not the republicans because they're the rich pukes. The majority of U.S. voters weren't stupid enough to elect Shrub in 2000, so the right wing Supreme Court stopped the election and anointed Shrub King of the Corporate States of America. This election is another referendum on the stupidity of the voters. The last three republican POTUS' added over $11 trillion to the national debt. If the voters elect Romney, the dumbing down of America will be complete.

Shrub had a republican House and a republican Senate for the first six years. It was the republican ideology that Shrub spearheaded. The bible describes the republicans in 2 Timothy 3:2...They will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy.

This is why the republicans are trying to destroy healthcare, Social Security, education, Medicare and Medicaid. It's why they waste trillions of dollars on senseless wars that kill hundreds of thousands of innocent women, children and elderly, so that the corporate military industrial complex can make huge profits. They try to fool the public into believing that invading other countries is defending America. The GOP vision for America is no different than the nazi vision for Germany.
