But Campbell Sera knows that verse-remember? She grew up in a Christian home and school...She knows all about the Bible.

 

Not only do I know all about the Bible, I have heard everything I possibly can from a fundamentalist christian on the subject.

 

Yet you know nothing about the Trinity

 

I absolutely do know about the trinity. Hell, I spent half my childhood on wednseday nights at Trinity Baptist Church learning catechisms. And I understood what the name of the church was referring to...

That is kind of disturbing. The Bible isn't meant to be interpreted on what man believes.

 

How else can it be interpereted? The very best you can hope for is a stong personal connection with the words in the Bible. Otherwise you are stuck believeing whatever dogma about it that other people tell you is the way to believe (which is really just either their interperetaion or an older one that they were taught). Dogma will kill the spiritual aspect of religion faster than anything else. Beware of it. It's as danerous as nationalism.

 

That is what the holy ghost is for.

Im now anti-religion. I hope you feel you did a good job representing christianity. I guess im going to hell but atleast I wont have to share it with people like you.

No you just found out what it really means to be a Christian and you don' like it because you have to turn from your evil ways something most people are not willing to do, because they love sin.

They claim they know God, but by their actions they deny him.

Well I'm not a prophet and I'm not a liar. A false prophet was usually the one who told the people what they wanted to hear. The true prophets of God usually were the one's the people stoned in the streets. I could say all kinds of good things that would make everyone like me, but what I know is true and that is why people can't stand to hear it. The only hope I preach will be found in Jesus. As we speak there are those who plan our nations destruction. I don't come to you in sheeps clothing. I,m telling you are nation is going down. When you hear Russia and her allies begin to threaten America with war. You will have to years to leave this nation. This will not happen for some time yet, but it will happen in your generation.

My problem on here with the ones who call themselves "Christians" is..Yes I believe in God, Yes, I believe in Jesus..But, I don't believe in Christians that come on here, forcing their beliefs and issues, being rude because someone doesn't believe in what you believe, and instead of being nice when stating their beliefs and why, they are on the defensive and actually most of them seem rather violent from their posts..and what the hell is it that I have heard from my friend that her grandma said to her and her mom and other numerous Christians have also said this.."It's their Christian duty to vote for Bush" why the hell is that? I don't see how it is yer "Christian duty" to vote for someone who has under his leadership, killed so many innocent people and children.
