Heyyyy lay off Ian Wright! He's a good lad, he just gets worked up when it comes to England. I know he's super pissed off that his son was left out of the squad. He's frustrated because he wants to manage England but he doesn't think he has the tactical ability to. But, England manager or TV pundit, he's really passionate about England, and that's something lacking in the likes of Sven.

    me and ian wright, lol.

(if you hadn't guessed I'm an Arsenal fan :))

    "mc carthy" accent!!???

Oh yeah, who can forget Stevie G?

He reminds me of Bryan Robson/Roy Keane in a way.

Do you think that Steven Gerrard would make a good England captain or is John Terry a better option?

I've never liked Ian Wright, and in like 96/97, he tried to get Peter Schmeichel sent off, and constantly played the racism card to his advantage.

Ian Wright is an absolute prick, and even when he isn't there when England are playing, he is crap when analysing matches, either both countries and clubs, and all he does is just laugh his head off like a cocky shite, and he's not even funny!!!

Did you actually hear what Schmeichel said to him though? That can never be acceptable.

Chill out, he's a nice lad.

Ian Wright slid in on Peter Schmeichel for a 50/50 ball, and delibrately kicked and provoked Schmeichel, so who cares what he said to that tosser?

To be honest, I don't like Alan Shearer much, but I prefer him to Ian Wright!!!

IW should just get back to what he does best, and just concentrate on:
    They Think It's All Over!!!

IW isn't funny at all, and I wouldn't be able to put up with a cocky tosser like him!!!
    I'd love to smack him!!!

Roy Keane would make a better pundit on MOTD than Ian Shight, sorry, I meant Wright!!!

good question .....hmmmm .....have to say stevie "as he does talk to players while the match is in progress " as john terry seems to be a quiet player who focus"s on the game and dont say to much . ( not bein a chelsea fan ) i might be wrong about that tho " but stevies always talking to other players whilst out on the pitch .

as for pundits .......i would stick with alan hanson ....alan shearer ....terry venables ..ally mc coist.......would like to see more of peter reid .........one of the best pundits ever woz brian clough :) .used to have brian moore on the edge of his seat all nervous (the big match live ) as brian spoke his mind . remember once "brian was on the panel and totally ripped into mick channon :D it started off with something like........ listen hear young man if you put as much effort in playing like you do talking you could become a decent player :D classic

Cloughie was a right character, and it would be funny if someone embarrassed Ian Wright and said:
"Listen here dickhead, if you had more talent as a pundit as you did as a player, and if you weren't such a cocky shite, then you'd make a decent pundit"

if I was on MOTD, i'd tell Ian Wright exactly what I think of him!!!
    :)

Peter Reid isn't really much different from Gavin Peacock and Alan Shearer.

Martin O'Neill is very good, and Roy Keane would be brilliant as well.

That's really, really harsh and unjustified. so what if you don't find him funny. Give him a bit of respect please. What provoked that violent response :(

As for "who cares what he said", you evidently don't know the extent of the racial abuse. :(

    Holland blew it,
they had 4 chances after each other, ALL RUINED.
    Goddamnit! :-|
And to make things worse, they almost let argentinia score in the freaking last 30 seconds!! :-|
Luckily, that guy couldnt shoot, and missed :p
