Yikes, I'm so uncomfortable... I'm at work right now and I have to wear shoes and socks...not to mention pants, clothes, and all that shit... I mean sandles I can handle because you can slip them on and off and they are not as confining as laced up shoes with socks...My feet are so hot and uncomfortable... About 3 1/2 more hours of this...I don't think work or school should have these dress codes...what is more natural then not wearing shoes...clothes perhaps since other people might be uncomfortable...but shoes, c'mon! It's a pretty shocking feeling putting shoes on after only barefeet and sandels for a few months...it's like being in a straight jacket... you just can't go back, and why would you want to...
I totaly understand the shoes thing. I probably ware them more then you but I havent worn them as much as a stay at home mom I can ware my flip flops and bare feet and slipers....so I went to las vegas and had to ware dress shoes....I was in pain! so I went on a mission in the casino to cut the straps off those shoes and I did...and hay I made them much more cumfy and cuter. If you are looking for really cumfy work shoes look for a store called hush puppies. Those have cushiness.
At work as a taxi cab dispatcher I don"t ware shoes or socks.In the summer time I am barefoot 24 hours a day.I drive,bike or walk barefoot to and from work which is located across town from the apartment building where I live.In the summer time I normally ware only shorts and tie dye tank top 24/7.I would never work at a job that I must shoes or socks.
well i don't really care by putting shoes on. i like shoes and like to be barefeet at the same time. so i guess you just have to deal with it.
I think that its wrong to require shoes just to make sure someone feels comfortable, because if you have dress codes just to make sure people are not uncomfortable or offended then they could make such rules about almost anything. People can and do get offended and find reasons to about just anything and no matter what you do youll always be doing something that will offend someone so the best thing to do is just use common sense live and let live and not let the offense of a few people bother you.
