What are your work out habits? How many times a week/what do you do? I like workouts you can do at home: stair sprints, jumping rope, etc. At the gym I have been doing bike intervals lately. Pedal as fast as possible for 8 seconds, at a moderate pace for 12, for 30-40 minutes. I love it and recommend it highly. I feel amazing afterwards. But...my gym is far away and I can't always get there.
i dont currently have one, but my only present this christmas is gonna be a gym membership. I hope someone telling me how to create a structured routine is included, cos i really dont have much of a clue.
I go 4 to 5 times a week typically, and to a mix of free weight and machine circuits. I am working more cardio in though, in the form of some time on the stationary bike and hikes
So, no cardio, rollingstoned? And Sig, that seems ideal. I've got to get back into doing weight lifting. Over the summer I had a very physical job and didn't need to do it, but now...not so much.
Ohh did you take that seriously?? :blush5: Lol I used to do a routine that hit each body part twice per week but I really don't lift anymore at all. I've been trying to do more cardio. I've also started swimming laps at the gym. Those Olympic sized pools are a lot bigger once you're actually in one
The only part I was skeptical about was the "bro", but the rest seemed plausible! And swimming is hard! I always forget how challenging it is until I'm doing it.
I do weights twice a week. Bout 2-3hours per workout Barbell bench press Dumbbell bench press Rows Calf raises Triceps push downs Lunges Leg press Pull ups Sit ups Leg lifts Shrugs Deadlifts Curls Leg extensions Leg curls Forearm rope thing Rear delt shoulder pulls After four years of weightlifting I've gone from a scrawny 140 lb bodyweight 180 lb bench press to 210 lb bodyweight 340 bench (1 rep max) I mean to do some kind of cardio 2 times plus a week but tends to be more like once a week since cardio is kinda a chore to me. My cardio is either 2 to 3 mile run, jump rope a couple hundred times, swimming laps for a half hour, running 26 floors of stairs a time or two, some half court basketball, some backyard mma training I'm a certified personal trainer so if anyone has workout questions feel free to pm me and ill do my best to help you out
I do 25 to 30 minutes of high-intensity interval training on an exercise bike three times a week. I do strength training with weights (mostly free weights) approximately 2-3 days a week for about 30 minutes, or I will do a few hundred pushups, bench dips, chin-ups, etc. instead on those days.
i hit the weight room at work twice a week. since i only really have time to go twice a week, i do a full body workout every time. i try to swim some when i can, but it's just hard to find the time to squeeze it in. i managed to make time over the summer since i live on the beach, but it's harder to motivate myself to get in the pool.
nah. lifeguards carry pocket masks now, so even if i briefly died she wouldn't actually give me mouth-to-mouth.
3 days of weights at the gym - a lower day (heavy squat variation and then accessory work), upper day (heavy press variation and accessory work), and a full body day sometimes i'll also go in just for some conditioning work - sled pull or prowler i also have a 50lb KB at home i use
I also like to work out at home (many exercises, could be helpful for you, too). I can't work out at the gym, simply because it's expensive. I'm doing three shorter work intervals with a higher intensity per week. Then, over time, I start cutting down my rest interval times. Then, I can start increasing my work interval times. So on and so forth... I work different muscle groups for 30-40 mins. Basically on a rotation: abs/shoulders, back/biceps, chest/triceps.
I don't have enough money to afford a gym membership, but next semester I am going to be taking classes again and then I can use the gym there. Currently I mostly just run and bike and I do at least one of them every day. I also hula hoop dance every day.

I do short HIIT routines and low intensity Cardio six days a week. Sometimes I replace HIIT with strenght, low Cardio with some Yoga, etc. I really enjoy working out, being healthy and feeling great. Nice aesthetics are a bonus...
I fall back on calisthenics.. I've got some dumbbells but don't use em all that much, I find em boring as hell, so I've made myself a little circuit that I do 3 times. Been kinda lazy the past week though Once I scrape up enough cash, I'm gonna get myself a surfboard too(very soon, woo!). The plan is to be paddling out to the beach(live in a marina, about 2k's to the sea) every morning, but that's only theory now. Once you get into the main waterway, you get blasted by the wind, so I may just spend 30mins going nowhere, and never actually make it to the beach.. we'll see
I've reigned my workout regime back a little bit recently due to work... I've been doing 30 minutes cardio (anything but on a bike)... And some weights for 30 minutes (focusing on arms legs and abs)...
