find that hard to believe when the Floral business never rests.. The Dutch floricultural business employs approximately 50,000 people. And this does not include the employment provided by suppliers... Every day, 21 million flowers are sent from Aalsmeer's ...
We're closed on the weekends, but sometimes I go in to catch up or help out a friend with their car. Today is definitely not one of those days. I need to lay around a little more then go shopping then go to dinner.
True, some businesses never rest, but we have a lot of foreign workers here. Mostly Eastern Europeans that do the jobs that Dutch people don't want to do and they only want to make money. The Dutch want to play or do gardening on saturdays.
He's in Brabant. Those flower stuff is mainly in Flevoland and other polder (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polder ) area's.
Darn it, a missed opportunity. I will remember to tell you next time I am in need of a good comeback.
Kind of. 'They took our jobs' has a dutch variety as well and with 'they' they usually mean polish cheap workers or more recently it seems people from Romania. It is another matter of having a national system developed and see people from other countries with less money take advantage of it without paying. So yeah, we can compare those.
The bosnians seem to keep themselves under the radar here. I wonder what they are up to The origins of the problem are different though. If there weren't efforts being made to unify certain aspect of Europe european countries would still not allow workers from cheaper countries to work here for less then dutch people would.
There are a lot here. There's an entire part of my city that is very high concentration of Bosnians. Those people are typically crazy, and they tend to think they are some kind of crime boss when they aren't shit. When I say crazy I mean they will get violent over nothing and not care when they do.
