One of my female work mates has a young teenage daughter (aged about 16) who is a lesbian & has a girlfriend about the same age . My work mate often mentions to other staff that her daughter is a lesbian & that she has seen them having 'romantic' moments with her girlfriend.. If you had a daughter who was a lesbian or a son who was gay, would you tell your friends on a regular basis how they are getting on romantically / sexually ? I've told my workmate that I don't mind her chatting about her lesbian daughter at all. Good to see thou that my workmate supports her daughters sexuality. Some parents don't like mentioning they have family members who are gay, bi sexual. We have to accept that times have changed over the years & no matter what a persons sexuality is, they should be treated equally & not seen as strange.
