Work dilemma

Sounds like working somewhere else is almost as good as winning the lottery.

Stay in touch. I know there are plenty of people here who want to see your work day get happier, or least more mellow.

 

so you're going to stop bathing or grooming yourself and start holding up lines at the gas station forever because you have to throw away your entire welfare check one dollar at a time with no concern for the people behind you who obviously actually have to be at work?

It has begun again...
I kinda wanna work at a gym, preferrably the one i go to now so i can work out for free

 

Things are pretty good now. She will still throw temper tantrums every once in a while but 85% of the time she is fine. We buy each other lunch now too.

 

Well my manager put her two weeks notice in last week. Her last day is this coming up Friday. I am actually going to be kind of sad. When I started this thread I never thought I would be saying that!!!

 

Apply for her job.

 

haha there is no way in hell they would give me her position.

Sometimes your enemies don't need to die, if they just go away, that is often sufficient.

In her case, maybe she realized that she was wrong about you, maybe a little too proud to admit it out loud, but changed her tune none the less.

 

Yes, Gardenguy, I think she finally did realize that acting the way she did only made people hate her and did nothing for her, but make her look like a bitch.

They are in the prcoess of hiring a new manager right now, one of the ladys they interviewed... ugh.

It's funny how these things work out.

 

Alright so I finally got a new manager yesterday. She was working in another position at the store for about a month but they gave her my old managers job now. She is awesome. Im glad i stuck this out. Most of my friends have quit but I have made new ones.

 

lol, so, my old manager (the one i started this thread about) stepped down to a regular associate position about 2 months ago. She didnt get along with the new manager because she said she was to slow in learning everything and what not. They would always bicker and 2 days ago it came to a boil and they went into the store managers office and my new manager said "either i go, or (insert old managers name here) goes. And the store manager said "well i cant afford to lose an ASM rght now, so (insert old managers name here) you're gonna have to leave. I am actually kind of sad that I wont be working with her anymore. It's weird has my attitude has changed since i started this thread. I never thought I would see the day she would get fired though, prolly a huge blow to her ego.

the store manager's a pussy.

 

its a long story but to make it short i ended up staying.

he's such a push over lol. he's a nice guy though

 

I know this thread is kind of old but:

idk if i mentioned this person earlier in the thread, but one of the other managers that used to work at my store, who was the most negative bitch ever, always putting people down and thinking her shit dont stink, is currently sitting in a jail cell for embezzlement and money fraud at the store she transferred her to. She was doing it at the store i worked with her at too. I had the hugest grin on my face when someone told me today. What goes around comes around.

 

So I think the lesson we can all learn here is don't get caught when you steal money.

So a little over a year later, this isn't the case anymore. This manager is SUCH a fucking liar, takes no responsibility for her actions and will throw anyone under the bus. It took me longer than a lot of the other people to see it, but now i finally do. She is really childish. I leave for another job in about two months but its getting really hard to stick this out

 

When there is a corporate ladder to climb, I've (sadly) seen the more incompetent people that have excellent ass-licking skills rise to the top.
