Alright, well, for about the first 2 hours of work she didnt say aything to me. Than I walked into her office and we talked for a bit, she said she hasnt been giving me hours because of my attitude, so we talked about it for a bit and I walked out. ( i really wanted to tell her i had a bad attitude sometimes was because shes such a bitch and pisses me off.) Later on i talked to her again and made her laugh a few times and talked about random shit. So i saw my schedule for next week and i have 12 hours, i was about to explode but than i saw that most people had less than me. I asked her what happened and theyre cutting everyones hours because of sales. Soooo we ended the day on a good note between us, and i think if i just act really happy and kinda be like all "oh yeaaa!! work!!!" around her i should eventually be able to get more hours and move on from this whole mess.

And yes Le Aura, I live in LA

If your boss is all gloom and grouse,
there is probably a reason.
Maybe she is one of these perpetually grouchy miserable people, (can't rule it out, eh?)
but maybe she is unhappy in her personal life (hard to help with that short of offering to start dating her),
OR maybe her unhappiness stems from one or more of the following:
she may be only marginally competent at her own job, poor sales at the store, her boss is evil, company policies suck, fill-in-the-blank.

Whatever it is, find a way to bring one ray of sun and blue sky to her world. (and if it makes you look like the employee of the month, that ain't bad either).

Well, I think shes probably stressed because the stores sales arent good, ever. Her personaly life seems fine shes always out partying and what not. Its a huge chain retail store that could possibly be going out of business in 2012. Ill let you guys guess what store it is.

Just an update, I had work yesterday, had a good day with my manager. Shared a few laugh and things went smoothly.

 

Things are still going well. Shes actually talking to me again and we joke around and what not. Got a dencent amount of hours this week. Things are lookin up!!!!

i have plenty of hours now and shes being extremely nice to me
deep down inside when i first made this thread i was hoping that they would deny my transfer and after a few weeks things would get better. They did deny it and things are excellent now!!!
