Gob-smacked. I never really hear it around here but when I read it, it conveys a fine whack up the side of the head. Think I'll go gob-smack somebody right now.

 

i like this quote from the Simpsons :

Homer : Actually, you were luminous, magnetic...[sighs] incandescent.

so i stole it and used it multiple times. so far pple always enjoyed hearing that they are luminous, magnetic and incandescent.

 

I get the luminous and incandescent part....but I'm not so sure about being magnetic.
It'd be an awful pain being magnetic in everyday life....imagine trying to get in a car or pay for something using coins. Hahah
