Words that should be used less often....

A lot of the "swear" words. While at times they can be quite effective at making a point when they are used constantly they become monotonous.

 

I hate the phrase "as it were", it serves no purpose and makes you sound like a fucking retard from the 19th century, as it were...

I seen it used more in this forum than any other place on earth ..cut it out folks

 

a lot of the words mentioned here are definitely top on my list.

And LIKE I think LIKE people should LIKE stop LIKE using the word LIKE

The phrase ''Having said that'' as in:

I like you alot, having said that, I dont think we really get on at all.

 

that reminds of how much i hate hearing the words "anyways" when Im talking to someone and they want to change the subject so they start their sentence with that instead of answering me

yes that is annoying.
some words are just irritating when they are used to terminate a discussion. in that sense i really hate the word "whatever".
as in : "- are u mad at me?" "- whatever"

i find that annoying.. but then in some places it's just colloquialism now. it happens around my way, but then we're all talking like this like that summit fucking taffy dab has a tidy lass
