    Thoughts on Woodstock 50?
    Only a couple of the original, and they are not for sure.
    So sad how many are gone.

    last i heard they couldn't even find a venue? but that was just some radio dj a couple weeks ago, not a particularly reliable source.

    It seems to me that a current festival (where the crowd goes through metal detectors) would be a poor memorial of a festival where there weren't any fences.

    Michael Lang is still trying to get an event for this fall at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland, but it probably won't be called Woodstock.
