Adam and I went there a little over a week ago. My first time there and I was blown away. What a cute heady, hippy town. Lots of friendly, cool folks. Great places to eat, and tons of neat stuff to buy at decent and fair prices. We camped in a neighboring(sp?) town called Phoenicia --the Catskill mountains provided gorgeous scenery. We'll be going back. . .Anyone familiar?
I have been to Saugerties and Woodstock quite a few times. ONce got lost driving there LOL. I loved the town too. I know that there are quite a few places to visit including a great place called opus40 that holds gatherings or you can just go most anydays. checker out at www.opus40.org awesome place if ur ever in woodstock. Try and go when they have there huge garage sales, thats always a great time to meet people Especially if its nice out.
Phoenicia is a great little town......much more laid back than Woodstock.... But don't tell too many people!
The sites name was www.opus40.org not .com silly me. Slight mistake on my part LOL but I changed it anywho........peace guys
