what is your fav parformance on the woodstock 69 documentary? mine is defiantly JOE COCKER!!!!!!!!! i love him. his perforamnce was so great!
I would have to say Santana... especially the drummer (forgot his name) i also liked Joan Baez's Joe Hill, very touching performance.
I too loved Joe Cocker's performance.. I'm not a big fan of him, but he kicked ass at woodstock. He was strung out on so many drugs, he could hardly even stand. I liked Richie Havens a lot too.. very inspiring performance that was.
I think Janis Joplin's was amazing, she was a bit stoned at the performance xD, an she really showed that strong voice and spirit in work me lord
Hell yeah, that was an awesome performance! It inspired me to get a few pairs of 'joe cocker boots!!' hahah .. His shoes kick ass too.
yeah mine are like this, same brand too Stacy Adams and heres the site http://www.stacyadams.com/detail.aspx?ID=335
Anyone else hear about the re-releasing of Jimi Hendrix Live at Woodstock DVD.It's his entire performance plus some extra stuff like "the road to woodstock".It's supposed to come out september 14 in the US I believe. But yea I always love the opening act of Richie havens screamin about Handsome Johny marchin to war. My favorite non musical act of the film though is ...Explosive!Explosive!Explosive!
My favourite performance would definately be Sly and the Family Stone. One groovy, groovy performance. Very uplifting, happy and loud!
i love santana...he is great..soul sacrifice...and the drumer...gosh...only 15..i mean...i play drums and im no where near that good and im older then him.... But yeah...I also like Ravi Shankar...he is great...and i also love Tim Hardin..they were good........I loved it all
wasnt a huge fan of woodstocks performances. just because it was a historic gathering doesnt mean that the music being played there was better than if it was played at any other show. some good artists but nothing too special in my opinion.
