I use it, but only for myself. I wouldnt' be so crass as to use it on someone else, because most people do see it as derogatory
This is actually rather funny to me. My mom hates the word. I have been going to an IRC chat for years that embraces the word ****. Saying **** to them is like saying smurf to a smurf. It's just a word and any word taken out of context and not used as an insult can cause an insensitivity towards it. Besides, it's a fun word to use when you are dirty talking in bed or during phone sex.
I always think of raw, rotting tomatoes when I hear that word... maybe because it sounds too much like Hunt's...
I have never been bothered by the word ****..er..im sorry the c-word... its a silly little word and didnt know it bothered people so much..

I am not bothered if someone calls me a ****. I think cunts are beautiful and I am glad I have one and so I take it as a compliment.

Logically, there's nothing wrong with it. However, it seems a little derogatory, so I refrain from using it. Stupid, I know, but I do it anyway.
