Actually I’m glad you mentioned this. Yoga is more than just stretching. It’s a philosophy. You’re outlook on life and other humans makes it almost impossible to believe that you’re a yoga teacher. It has nothing to do with your sex.

When you got your 200 hr ryt you didnt learn that yoga is also strengthening? Thats a shame. You must have taken one of those watered down courses that are unfortunately all too common.

 

For some its more than just stretching/the physical aspect. For others not really. Same with how it can be taught. If I'd get into yoga again I would be mostly in it for the stretching. Not to say i don't get philosophical (like the regulars here are probably overly aware of ), but not that much with/during yoga.
