Hmm, the article isn't as straight forward as it seemed, the case in question has various connotations. A general observation = We all know the (Health and Safety) dangers of working Barefoot, If given a choice, it's a choice of which I'm willing to do ... as I'm sure are others (a matter of (Pagan) religious choice) This decision should be down to the individual and if the 'self' responsibility removes Employer responsibility then, for me, "Bring it on"
