    I still havent seen an explanation why vegans dont eat honey...Is it meat? NO. Is it produced naturally from processes that include plants and pollination. Yes. So why dont you eat it? I dont remember an animal being killed for the production of honey, unless you maybe consider a bee.....

    Vegans dont eat honey because thats what they were told to do.

    vegans dont eat meat, use animal products, animal bi-products, or anything that was tested on animals.

    meat: flesh of an animal such as a cow, chicken, or fish...
    animal product: milk, eggs, jello, lard, leather...
    animal bi-product: honey, white sugar, wool...

    and yes bees are animals, and yes they do get killed in the prossess of gathering honey.

    well shit I get saving a cows life or something but bees....I mean come on now..

    someones gotta look out for em, i understand if you don't want to. :)

    its tough not eating honey, i contemplate shooting myself every day because my green tea isnt sweet.:jester:
