How many on here have gained more confidence with the opposite sex as they gain years?? Would you be more comfortable today meeting & talking with someone new of the opposite sex than in past years?? I look back and wonder how I ever met girls!! I was SO shy and backward. I was awkward around girls when it came to talking to them. If they didn't approach me first, I'd likely pass on any attempt at striking up a conversation. In talking with male friends over the years, I can say lots of guys are scared when it comes to meeting and talking with a new girl. Women aren't the only ones with fears & anxiety!! But with the passage of time - and experience - I've become completely comfortable striking up conversations with any woman. (not hitting on them anymore - I'm married!!) I've been comfortable for years, but the awkwardness of youth are painful to look back on. Teen years and even into mid-20's were unsure and shaky. Glad those days are over!!
