it's quite fairly easy to just live with one wife for the rest of your life, nothing wrong with that, it's called commitment and being loyal to your wife, and she'll do the same.
if you have multiple wives, you aren't loyal, and you're not respecting yourself, or your wife, in that manner, it's cheating, and i don't condone that type of behavior.
so the question lies in...why would you want more than one wife? you want to be a cheater? then there's your answer.
woman are not sex objects, FYi.
they deserve to be treated with love, respect, and care.
treated like a queen, not a piece of meat, sticking your thing into whoever you feel, for your own sexual gratification, because you can't control your sexual urges.

Actually Mac, there WOULD be plenty. Things wouldn't be any different than it is now because there's guys that don't want to get married at all, guys who want to marry other guys, and guys that women simply can't stand who will NEVER even have ONE wife because they suck as human beings.

Savi - I agree with lots of what you say here but there are many times it is NOT easy. It takes hard work. In any relationship people will change over time. In 20 years the other person, as well as yourself, will be a different person. You have to work to keep the relationship fresh. Is it worth the work? Yes, but the one thing it is not is easy.

 

in 20 years? i'm pretty sure i'll be the same old person that i was born as, nothing will change about me, but her? most likely.
there's literally nothing about me that could change within that time span, i love myself dearly lol,
not everybody has the same relationship with someone.
i've been in two of them, a long time ago, but they didn't last long...because due to my shyness (bashful) they left me, and living their lives with someone else and has kids.
I'm way over them, because lifes too short to still think about the past, i'm foccused on the present right now, not the past.
i do know that i have to work to keep the relationship fresh, that won't be too hard for me at all, and i know it isn't easy, that's what make life so interesting.
life would have absolutely no valule, if life was known as "Easy" so it's better that things are quite the challenge in life, we make mistakes, we learn from them, simple.
i'll be the one who won't change in a relationship.
