So I plan on barefooting a lot this winter. I have read that if I keep the rest of my body warm it is more bearable.

How do you dress during the winter?

    Thanks for your response

No snow on the ground-Moccasins if its cold, flipflops if it's not ...snow on the ground -some kind of slip on shoe like Toms and lots of snow(rare where I'm at) I have boots but it's rare...No socks ever(except for the rare boot occasion) and once I get to where I'm going the footwear whatever it is, is off and my feet are free haha

The warmer the better. When the rest of your body stays warm, it can also deliver warm blood to your feet, warming them somewhat. But keep in mind that you cannot defeat the elements once you go past a certain treshold. Go cold enough and eventually frost bites will happen. Toes in particular are at risk. So listen to your feet. When they don't want it anymore, take it seriously.

I go with an overcoat and warm hat and scarf, and my feet bare.
