Thought I would make the new thread, since it is now officially winter . Post your winter pictures, ya'll.
Both pictures were taken near sunset by the Stew Leonard's supermarket in Newington, CT, off of the Berlin Turnpike (US 5/CT 15). The sad part? It went below freezing that Christmas 2017 afternoon. It stayed that way for two solid weeks with no break. BTW, there's no snow on the ground here at the moment. A coating from Christmas Eve already melted.
The City of New Britain (CT) Christmas Tree in our version of Central Park, taken early this morning. (Photo Credit: Chad Gelsomino) The other two were taken by me, to compare the Stew Leonard's supermarket snow show of a year ago. It's sunny, breezy and about 38 F/3 C today.
I went for a walk around this little lake today and randomly came across a polar plunge It was 60f today though lol. My favorite was T Rex
I like taking pics of animals I come across if y'all hadn't noticed. Was raining, didn't seem too thrilled... Did not pet
