born in new zealand, grew up in australia. yeah it's fairly cold in san antonio too. i think tonight it's just below freezing. i haven't been outside much so i'm not really feeling it. it'd be great fun if it snowed, even just a little.

and i have no problem with people posting in whatever they're used to, it's just confusing when they say 'oh yeah it's 10 degrees here, bloody cold' and don't mention either fahrenheit or celsius. a few c's and f's wouldn't hurt anybody

Lol fickle I know what you meeean, when people say 'its 70 degrees!!' I'm like whut that is HAWT.. oh wait.. thats in F.. bah. And it isn't even a simple F - x = c conversion either, proper weeiiirrdd scale difference. Goooggles ftw. I have to work out F to C for my kiln to find a firing schedule, and I forget what is which so I end up converting C back into F and wonder why it makes no sense!!

i actually have a really weird accent. definitely sounds australian, but i pronounce almost all of my r's (eg i pronounce the r in dark where most australians don't) because i lived in ireland for a while and people had trouble understanding me (especially on the phone) if i didn't.

mandyland, my dreads are in and out, it seems like every month i decide to backcomb my hair, and then comb it out. i went through a crisis yesterday and combed the fuckers out again, i am sure they will be here this week. but because of this there is no progress.

it's weird, i don't know, i've been meditating on it a lot lately. most recently i did them again because we were moving and i was going to be free, and now i need to get a job because i am broke so i combed them out.

i need to mellow... not really sure how though?

it fekking snowed in newcastle ca. last night...and is snowing still. I haaaaaaaate snow thats why I moved here...it never snows here....EVER! K,jahsdjfa,vnckzcxnc nvb!!!!!

 

School was canceled today on account of the temperature. It was -35 Celsius when I woke this morning which is -31 F. UGH! I haven't left my house since Thursday.

 

I'm in North Carolina in the States where its cold as hell in the winter and hot as hell in the summer and the humidity here makes both feel 20x worse than they are. You can never get used to either one because of the variance. Also I hate tams... they always remind me of drugged out college kids... don't like the way they look. And I never wear shorts, just don't like them, even if its really hot outside. About the only shorts I ever wear are boxer shorts to bed or board shorts if I'm going swimming, rest of the time its pants for me.
