ElChivato... I like the color of your toenails. It stands out against the snow and your light-colored pants. Maybe next time you could alternate red and green on each toe for X-mas.

I took advantage of the nice 56 degree day we had here in indiana yesterday and I went on a barefoot walk at the state park. My feet have gotten softer than they were however I was ok doing about 1.5 miles. The mud was nice although it was very cold the dry sections were ok. About half way through my feet started getting rather cold but I soldiered on back to the car barefoot. It was awesome, I felt so alive. I am just glad its been this warm around here.

We got snow again...up to a whole foot in some places. As promised, I slung the digital camera around my neck and took a barefoot stroll in the park at lunch today! Brother, it was cold...but fun as hell, and I hope someone comes across my tracks.

Low temps here have been below 20 degrees F consistently- down to 15 degrees one night. I have to walk outside to the bath house in order to take a shower and it's been fun walking over there with nothing but a towel around my waist. The frosty grass crunches under my bare feet and the arctic breeze gives me a freezer-burn kind of sensation on my shoulders. Yay.

Last weekend I went hiking and rock scrambling barefoot and there was a lot of frost and ice on the ground. I had to keep moving pretty fast to keep my feet from freezing. Fun times.

it has been TOO cold for me to barefoot. the temps haven't been that cold but it has been wet. for the last 4 days the temps have been 29-30 for a low and 32-33 for a high with rain, freezing rain and sleet with little bits of snow (it didn't stick).

I did take the trash out and cleaned the vaccum filter barefoot only spent about 5 minutes out but it was cold, prolly 30F with light rain/sleet.

I'm all about winter bare feet... in Miami Beach!

How about summer bare feet... wow the ground's hot. I can't do it. I always think I can, and then 20 seconds later I'm racing back into my building like a moron. But once it's about 7pm, the street's perfect.

    Hey guys!

I'm a newbie to this forum - I've been reading for a while but couldn't resist posting this pic of me going barefoot this morning in the snow!

Sorry it's a bit dark and fuzzy, but it was 7am!

if i'm going to run the garbage out, going out for a smoke or some other sort of activity that doesn't require a lot of time outside, I'll go barefoot outside. I'll go on the occasional run through the snow barefoot too. I have no pics though :(
