Windows installer pop up problem.

I had an old pc for about 5 years, and recently I bought one used from radio Shack, where they had been using it as a display model. Anyway... no matter what I open, mozilla,Msn explorerer, and sometimes pages, a box appears saying "windows intaller" and it delays verything from opening. I went to Control panel and deleted it from there, twice, but it hasn't stopped.

Has anyone ever experinced that?

How can I get rid of it?

I do have windows media...but I don't know if that could be it.
It started after maybe a week of using it, It wasn't there before.
