On the radio today a doctor reported she had confidence in the safety of mRNA vaccines but not in a DNA vaccine
such as Johnson n Johnson . She spoke of the basic functional difference yet did not explain why DNA technology
    is questionable .

Then in the evening another doctor was on the radio . He liked the JnJ and was suspicious of the mRNA 's .

My Mom was a nurse many years ago. When my sibs and I were kids, she would give us penicillin shots in the gluteus maximus.

I think anyone who refuses to get a vaccine should be denied medical treatment of any kind. You want to live on the edge not giving a fuck about anyone else? Go for it.

Glad to hear you have recovered from the second dose...was that Pfizer?

Almost stood in line today to get the vaccine, but all they have is Astro-Zeneca... and I don't want blood clots and a less-effective thing stuck into me.

Being quarantined and using basic precautions is easy and keeping me safe for now.

It was Pfizer. I had a sore arm after the 1st dose. The 2nd dose. I was sick with a cold. Honestly did not feel run down from the cold. It did make me crash and feel like crap. I slept for the day when I got home from the vaccine site and I did not smoke the following week until the weekend came along.

I heard nothing but bad news from the Astro vaccine. I would stay away from it.

I don't blame you for staying safe. I'm exposed to all walks of life both sick and healthy. I was expecting to catch covid. I did not. I did have it in 2020 in the beginning. I still don't have a full appetite. Which is fine as I want to lose more weight. Doing it the healthy way of course.

    Good news.
I just got a phone call off our surgery to go have second Astro-Zeneca jab at 3.15pm tomorrow.
    Then.

    Yes Fem.
And the bad bit is that it is idiots like this who refuse to have the jab, will likely get COVID and then pass it on to others who might die of it.
I bet fools like this don’t keep to social distancing either.
They get my bastard back up.
    The bloody lot of them.
    I can tell you!:rage:

I got my 2nd Pfizer shot on Monday. The feeling of relief after more than a year of whistling past the graveyard is awesome! Don't trust the vaccine? I trust it a lot more than I trust the coronavirus!

I had my second Pfizer Covid vaccine yesterday. I did not have any reactions to either shot. There is a sense of relief to finally be vaccinated but I will continue to wear a mask and keep my distance etc.
