Gee; it's almost as if vaccines, masks, social distancing, and hand washing really do reduce the incidence of respiratory infections!

Hand washing yes but masks are completely useless against COVID unless your wearing an N95. Cloth masks are a waste

 

Not totally useless; anything's better than nothing, but we've been using KN95's since the beginning.

I want the vacines

 

As a nurse for 42 yrs (retired), now all 3 doses were done, asap.. Jeez, it's just common sense.

 

A cloth mask decreases your chance of contracting COVID by 56%. A paper surgical mask; 66%, an N95; 83%.

I am pro-vaccine but anti-booster if that makes sense. I believe that as many people as medically able should be getting two shots. But after that, no one should be entitled to a booster shot when so many of the poorest countries can't even get a first shot into their people.

 

Before I got my booster I asked my doctor if it was necessary and he said if I can get it then get it. Not getting it isn't going to hurry the vaccine to third world countries. That's a logistics problem we're trying to alleviate, but it's overwhelming.

I know alot of people that have gotton this shot and they are mean and miserable now like it does something to them.....

This would be really funny if weren’t such an accurate portrayal of the right.

 

I know a lot of anti-vaxers who seem to be mean and miserable too--in fact pretty aggressive about it. They tried to take over the city government recently but fortunately were defeated by folks who seem to be friendlier, cheerier, and mentally stable.

 

I just don't understand it, it defies comprehension. And it's true. Every fucking one that doesn't want a vaccine is militant about it.

 

Some believe the pandemic is fake, others believe in microchips in the vaccine, many believe it's a government plot to control us. Shades of Qanon! Even their god Donald Trump can't get them to change their minds.
