Kentucky bride-to-be who hesitated to get vaccinated dies of Covid-19

Samantha Wendell could not wait for her wedding this summer. For nearly two years, the 29-year-old surgical technician had been meticulously planning every detail, from the seating chart to the Tiffany blue floral arrangements, her fiancé, Austin Eskew, said.

Wendell and Eskew wanted to start a family as soon as they got married, Eskew, a correctional sergeant, said. The couple, of Grand Rivers, Kentucky, hoped to eventually have three, maybe four, children.

So when the Covid-19 vaccines came out, and some of Wendell’s co-workers said the shots caused infertility — an unfounded claim that has gained ground despite top reproductive health groups refuting it — she “just kind of panicked,” Eskew, 29, said.

Wendell decided they should hold off on their vaccinations. It was a choice that cost her her life: Instead of attending her wedding, which was supposed to be on Aug. 21, her family is now planning her funeral.

And we could post pics of people who were vaccinated and who now are either dead or have long term health problems… that’s all quite apart from the liberties we are being stripped of. And the divisions it is causing even within families. Disgusting fascistic behaviours.

Many people aren’t even anti-vaxxers! This is happening now in London… might have to watch it from the start to get what the people are saying… why they’re protesting…

 

I could understand you calling the first couple million people to get vaccinated Guinea Pigs, but by now over 180 million Americans are fully vaccinated and the results have been great. That should give you plenty of confidence in going out and getting the shot.

Tell you what, please let us know if you catch covid, plus arrange to have someone post for you if you die from it.

Far-right Republican Laura Loomer, an anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist who once said she wanted to get COVID-19, has tested positive for the virus and is experiencing “brutal body aches and nausea,” she told her social media followers Thursday.

The failed congressional candidate and QAnon supporter said that her symptoms began on Wednesday and that she’s already undergoing treatment with several drugs, including hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malaria medication with no proven effectiveness against coronavirus.

“I had a fever, chills, a runny nose, sore throat, nausea and severe body aches that made my whole body feel like I got hit by a bus, and after sleeping for a few hours, my symptoms started to remind me of how I felt when I had a bad case of the flu a few years ago,” she wrote on Gettr, a social media platform created by former President Donald Trump’s associate Jason Miller.

 

Got my 2nd shingles vaccine on Monday...gonna get my flu shot in a couple weeks, I get one every year...while i'm there I'll check with my doctor and make sure I'm all caught up...I believe I am, I've had my pneumonia and tetanus shots in the past couple years...last year I asked them if I should get a polio booster shot but they said no, they checked my blood and said the shot I got as a child is still doing its job...we'll figure it out.

Some anti-vaxxers have proclaimed themselves “Purebloods” in a campaign of biological supremacy against those who received the COVID-19 vaccine.

“From now on, I refuse to be referred to as ‘unvaccinated,’” said conservative influencer Lyndsey Marie in a post last week. “I want everyone to now call me Pureblood.”
