HELENA, Mont. -- While many large companies across the U.S. have announced that COVID-19 vaccines will be required for their employees to return to work in-person, there is one state where such requirements are banned: Montana.

• FDA has not approved ivermectin for use in treating or preventing COVID-19 in humans. Ivermectin tablets are approved at very specific doses for some parasitic worms, and there are topical (on the skin) formulations for head lice and skin conditions like rosacea. Ivermectin is not an anti-viral (a drug for treating viruses) thus is ineffective against covid.
• Taking large doses of this drug is dangerous and can cause serious harm.

And yet the stuff is flying off the shelves in some places. The people who make ivermectin are raking in the money. Here's a new one for the conspiracy buffs: they're the ones who started the rumor that ivermectin is good for treating covid!
