I don't so much have an issue with Tattoos - for they give an individualists stamp of expression
    > But - The imposition of such by others as a 'mark of Cain' for the purpose of intimidation, discrimination and persecution does not hold the same opine -for those of Jewish faith, there lies a lesson and reason why this practice was used
This seems the modern equivalent to ye olde aged practice (though woad does in time come off) Being the ever cynical olde Hippie however, to me, it seems that the trend of easy access to Clubs, Good intention of keeping an eye on one’s children, to alternative to a tagging device for early release prisoners, (crime offenders)
Big Brother has already got its EYE on us all already, and just as ‘identity’ cards were muted and rejected by the public so should anything like this be. Despite any advantages that may be promoted in this sphere the idea that in time it becomes a 'Sat Nav' for the people – "be afraid, be very afraid"

What I see going on now is parents getting their kids DNA collected and put in a database by law enforcement. the whole idea is for child abduction, being able to identify your kid if they area ever taken. Those of us who can see past that realize that that DNA is databased forever. They have used fear to get the parents to do it. This will just grow and they will get a whole generation on file. I think this is the first step towards that chip.

I would never allow a private or public institution the opportunity to implant a microchip into me, regardless of what they 'claim' its limitations are. I don't trust any large organizations enough to do such a thing.

Proto Transhumanism? Quite a spectacle indeed!
    :D

One day, the elite will live for hundreds of years, never tire or get sick, be more "intelligent" and command more power than ever before...

But the question remains, will that make them happy? Truly happy?

Sad how easy it is for them to rfid people without any consent or even knowledge, a trip to the dentist, the doctor etc.

In fact it probably wont be long to where they'll simply start chipping people via the food chain once the technology gets scaled down to a molecular level and then building the databases in reverse whenever the cops stop you and shake you down for your personal info,,, or at the DMV... :cheers2:

So do those aluminum wallets really protect against RFID readers like they claim? It would be worth buying if they worked.

DMV as in when they have you in a chair, relatively isolated from the rest of the croud, taking your picture, they know it's you and could easily have a scanner in place to link the whois data to the serial of whatever chips you've been tagged with from Mc'Donalds Chicken McNuggets. Could be feasible provided the powers that be can convince enough of a majority of federal employees that doing something like that would be for the greater good of society,,, like that could ever happen,,,

As long as I had Administrator rights and could hack the registry to hell then I might not mind it so much.

And we're not lacing the water supplies with this shit yet? FFS!

I will NEVER allow the Powers That Be to implant anything in me. Xexon & Cogliostro are on target, both in their own way; from a Biblical perspective. I looked up the verses that relate - they are in "Revelation" - here they are:

    Revelation 13:16
It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man.[e] That number is 666.

    [e] or is Humanity's number.

Prior to these passages, it cautions that when the "Beast", or the Anti-Christ, also called Satan, comes down to the Earth, he will be deceitful and make himself to appear as though he is God. For; once we accept his "mark", we are his property, as it were; and there's no turning back. It is also written that Satan will perform all kinds of actions that appear to be stuff that God would do, in an attempt to con us into thinking he is really God so he can capture us for his side. It is critical to remember at all times that what will be going on there is a "fight" between Satan & God (Evil & Good) - and throughout history, Satan is well-known for disguising himself in order to lure people who are inherently good, away from God. Apparently, Satan finds it especially rewarding to snare a good individual who is already on God's side; away from God. They've had this conflict going on since day one, so to speak. It is written that Satan is a "fallen Angel" - he was one of God's Angels that went bad, and since then, Satan has been trying to get all the people to commit themselves to his side so he can "get over" on God. Hence, the eternal struggle between Good and Evil.

    Revelation 9 & 10 says:
9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.
10 “If anyone is to go into captivity,
    into captivity they will go.
If anyone is to be killed with the sword,
with the sword they will be killed.”
This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.

Prior to Revelation 9 & 10, it tells how a "beast" (who is Satan) will present himself; and then be given power over the entire world. It says that everyone in the world will allow themselves to be under his control - that is, everyone EXCEPT the people who had already decided before Satan arrived - to not accept the mark (ie: chip implant). By refusing to receive the mark (chip implant), and refusing it because they have decided to believe in the existence of God and thereby committing themselves to be on God's side (the side of Good) - they will subsequently rewarded by God for their faithfulness, by going to Heaven and living there in peace and harmony forever. One becomes immortal in Heaven. The thing is, Satan will do everything in his power to endeavor to convince by using force and threat of death on Earth to people who refuse his mark (implant). The passages 9 & 10 (above) are referring to just that; and I personally believe that it is not beyond the realm of possibility that the Powers That Be could, indeed, incarcerate (put in jail) any people who refuse the implant. (Revelation 10: "if anyone is to go into captivity; into captivity he will go.") What God is saying here is: "if they threaten you with jail, tell them to "have at it!" "Confine me, you bastards! You are not going to implant me, and if you see fit to put me in jail behind me saying "no", then so be it." It also says in the Bible that Satan (the Powers That Be) may actually threaten to kill anyone who does not obey him - and may, indeed do so. I'm not trying to frighten anyone, but the way I see it is this: When it really comes down to it, and they start trying to push this implant thing on us - and I see it coming - but everyone needs to decide for him or her self. But I'll tell you what - I'm almost 60 years old, and I've committed myself to God's side because too many things have happened in the world that are written in the Bible for me to recognize that it's for real. I'm not trying to push my beliefs on anyone, but consider this: do yourself a favor and familiarize yourself with first, Revelation, then go backwards.

And then, if this implant thing starts coming down, and you are told that unless you receive the implant, you're not going to be able to buy & sell whatever you need to survive unless you let them put it in you - then that should be enough information right there - that is the same thing that was written in the Bible warning you - for you to believe that the Bible is true.
So from then on, it's your choice - you choose God or Satan. But the Bible says we must truly believe in the existence of God to go to Heaven after we die on Earth.

Carlfloydfan mentioned the part about getting into Trendy clubs or something like that as the reason given for accepting the chip implant - that right there, in my opinion, is a classic trick of deception that this guy Satan would use to trick people into getting the chip put in them. And remember, if all this Bible stuff is true, then once you let them put the mark in/on you, you belong to the bad side. I asked a theologian about just that - like, if you were tricked into getting the mark but were really a good person that would choose God over Satan, but you didn't know that the implant meant Satan's mark - would God still punish you for that by disallowing you into Heaven? He's checking into it for me, but now that I am reading the Bible and know about that part, it would be difficult for Satan to trick me. So, kids; my advice to you is DON'T let them put the chip in you, no matter what. If I refuse it and they threaten me with jail or death, then I will know in my heart for sure that God was informing me about it, and I will know that I will go to Heaven by having faith in God.

What's fascinating is that the body is a battery and has an electromagnetic field which can be tapped to power slight devices. It can also act as a unit connecting various devices arrayed at different areas upon it. Making the body a type of computer hardware.

I don't think it very seemly to take a first generation chip. But those who do, and study them, may be better prepared than those who do so later. Just as the warez and hacking generation pretty much holds the keys to software freedom now. Through a pervasive network of 'liberated' computers.

Amber Alert, yes is how people will track their brats and take chips into society at large, and medical info. They will have already been used by covert agencies with advanced functionality.

It would be very cool imagining that you could control surrounding devices with the chip. Everything in the world has good and bad uses, really depends on the user.
