Strange you would mention IQ, as I followed a news article the other day that was titled..."You won't believe Baron's IQ"....They say it is in the 140's and Trump's is in the 150's. i mentioned this to someone and they said those numbers are probably propagated and that trump is dumb. I also followed a link to find out highest known IQ's of different people, and I think it was Bill Gates showing the highest at 190.

I am not sure anyone can REALLY measure intelligence, though.

It seems to me that there is lot of people who don’t realise the complexity of the world and don’t want to know so they get conned by people that give them simple answers that only make things worse.

Thing is if people are ill informed they are going to make ill informed decisions especially about who they vote for and the likely outcome of that is they lose their vote.

To repeat - Democracy cannot succeed unless those who express their choice are prepared to choose wisely. The real safeguard of democracy, therefore, is education.
