When I was young I learned that God was omnipresent, omnipotent, and prone to anger for some reason. Then I heard this guy who played guitar really well was being called God. Around the same time I realized I was more likely to see God hanging out in Millbrook than in some concert hall. These days people, some very religious, are calling some huge pumpkin ass farting criminal, God, due to politics apparently. And now some racist, antisemitic asshole thinks he's God. I'm confused now. Which one is the one true God, or do we now have a plethora of Gods from which to choose. This isn't fair. Maybe the Greeks or Pagan were closer to the truth?
Every time I pray, I feel as if I am just talking to myself, so I suppose that I had better stand up.
Most people that are looking to “God” for help or strength etc is because the feel powerless, yet unfortunately they have more power to control their circumstances than they will admit. If they would just stand up and get moving they might just find that they can solve many of their own problems.those that believe in God always say that it must be Gods will somehow when horrible things happen. It is just a way for them to process such things.
There is only one authoritative documentary on god and his family that I know of. It goes into so much detail that it is stretched out over several seasons. It is on Netflix and is called, Lucifer. I find it to be much more informative than say that black book people always push---and now Trump is selling them with his signature in it, as if he was one of the authors...
