In the OP you were talking about wanting to marry a woman who is still weeping over her recent ex.

Your heart is way, way too far ahead of reality.

If she is still weeping, that means that even she isn't sure if her love for you is rebound love or something that might be long lasting.
(Does your certainty that she loves you come from her saying that or is it something you deduced.)

I'm not a woman, but I remember my first love. I don't think that my wife has even heard the name Mary Odland, but my memories don't detract from my current (and developing) love for my wife.
