Will a blood test detect THC if not looking for it?

I'm pretty sure a normal blood test testing for health issues won't detect mj, but i just wanted to make sure.

You can only get the results for something if they test for it. It's not like a computer will tell them out of no where that you have THC in your blood. A person must specifically and separatly test for it.

I just had a physical done recently and I was worried about that too because they were doing a blood test. When they called with the results it wasn't brought up so I assumed it wasn't something they tested for. And they were nice too so it wasn't like they knew but they had to act like they didn't.

 

NO. they would have to test for THC specifically to find it. typically if they are looking for drugs they run a urine drug screen, not a blood drug screen. atleast that's what they do in the doctor's office i work in. HTH

 

If they're not looking for it they won't, and anyway it's only a class C now, so you don't have to worry.
